Under IE11 if you switch quickly between tabs you should see a momentary flicker where both tab pages are displayed where they should be mutually exclusive. The html in the file tabGroup-template.html holds the ng-show directive that controls the display of a page. The angular-animate library must be included for this effect to be seen.
